(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) - He made the proposal in his address to the one-day meeting on "Syrian National Dialogue" in Tehran on Sunday.
War in Syria should be halted and given the current circumstances a truce should be enforcd there, he said.
Western military forces should not intervene in Syria's internal affairs, he said, adding "As we have witnessed, whereever western powers intervened it was followed by wars and bloodshed," he said.
Muslims should resolve their own differences particularly under the current circumstances when the enemies of Muslims are taking advantage of disputes among Muslims, he said.
There are about 60 Islamic countries in the world with each enjoying an independent army, he said, adding "Much to our regret, none of these armies is confronting the West single handedly," he said.
"On several occasions, we have witnessed that Muslim armies have threatened each other instead of forging unity among themselves, he said.
"The one-day conference on "National Dialogue in Syria" was held in Tehran on Sunday with presence of Syrian officials, representatives of opposition groups in Syria, a number of foreign diplomats and experts and some Tehran-based diplomats.
